Returns & Exchanges
Standard items — 30-day returns
Ready-made curtains, blinds, and accessories in their original packaging, unused and unwashed, can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (less return shipping).
To start a return:
- Email hello@decoee.com with your order number and which items you're returning.
- We'll send you a return address and a returns reference number.
- Post the items back to us. Use a tracked service — we can't refund items that go missing in the post.
- Once we receive and inspect the items, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 5 business days.
Custom-cut items — non-returnable
Custom-sized curtains, made-to-measure roller blinds, and any item cut, hemmed, or finished to your specifications cannot be returned for change of mind. Once production starts, the panel is unique to your window and we can't resell it.
We know this is the bit that worries people, so:
- Before production starts: you have 24 hours after order confirmation to cancel or change a custom order, no questions asked. We email you the moment your order enters production so the deadline is never a surprise.
- Sample first: we strongly recommend ordering a fabric sample (free, four per request) before placing a custom order, especially if you're between two colours.
- Sizing help: if you're unsure about measurements, email hello@decoee.com with photos of the window and we'll work the numbers with you. No charge.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or doesn't match what you ordered, we replace it at our cost. Send us a photo within 7 days of delivery to hello@decoee.com. We'll send a replacement and arrange return collection of the original — you don't need to print or pay for anything.
This applies to all items, including custom-cut ones.
Exchanges
We don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different colour or size of a standard item, return the original for a refund and place a new order. For custom items, exchanges aren't possible — please use the cancellation window or order a sample first.
Refund timing
After we receive and inspect a return, refunds process within 5 business days. Card refunds usually appear in your account within 3–5 days after that, depending on your bank.
