Refund policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can return items purchased from Decoee and how refunds are processed. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.
Standard items — 14-day returns
Ready-made curtains, ready-made blinds, curtain rods, and accessories in their original packaging, unused and unwashed, can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price.
To start a return:
- Email hello@decoee.com with your order number and which items you would like to return.
- We will reply within one business day with a return address and a returns reference number.
- Post the items back to us using a tracked service. We cannot refund items that are lost or damaged in return transit.
- Once we receive and inspect the items, your refund is processed within 5 business days to your original payment method. Your bank may take a further 3–5 days to display the refunded amount.
Return shipping cost: The customer is responsible for return shipping on change-of-mind returns. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
Custom-cut and made-to-measure items — non-returnable for change of mind
Custom-sized curtains, made-to-measure blinds, and any item cut, hemmed, finished or made to your specifications cannot be returned for change of mind. Once production begins, the panel is unique to your window and cannot be resold.
To reduce the risk:
- Cancellation window: You have 24 hours after order confirmation to cancel or change a custom order at no cost. We email you the moment your order enters production so the deadline is never a surprise.
- Order fabric samples first: We strongly recommend ordering swatches (up to five per request) before placing a custom order, especially if you are between two colours or unsure of fabric texture.
- Sizing help: If you are unsure about measurements, email hello@decoee.com with photos of the window before you order. We will work the numbers through with you at no cost.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or does not match what you ordered, we will repair, replace, or refund the item at no cost to you. This applies to all items, including custom-cut ones.
To make a claim:
- Email hello@decoee.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue and your order number.
- We will arrange a replacement and organise return collection of the original item. You will not need to print labels or pay return postage.
Replacements are produced and dispatched as soon as the issue is confirmed, with the same lead times as a new order.
Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges. To change a standard item, return the original for a refund and place a new order. For custom items, exchanges are not possible — please use the 24-hour cancellation window or order a sample before committing.
